Ring, ring ring! It was time for lunch. The class walked to the lunchroom stunned by what he said. They had pizza as big as their desks. Dangerous sat at a table. Then a girl with dark long hair sat next to him.
“Hi, my name is Power, just like your sister,” she said with a smile on her face. “We are different, I can see that. Dangerous, I see how different you are from all the other people.”
“Yes, I am different from all of ya’ll. You have not seen different yet. You will see.”
Power said, “Why did you come to this school in the suburbs?”
“So I can be better and do better in class and school. I have something to tell you. You are the only one I am going to tell this to,” Dangerous said.
“What?”
“Back in my old school people didn’t like me.”
“Why?”
“Things happened. They think I did it because my name is Dangerous.”
